Ingredients
Important to use a scale and weigh your ingredients.
- vanilla = 8 grams
- salt = 3 grams
- fresh grated nutmeg will make a difference in this recipe
- I haven’t made homemade preserves in awhile so my brand of choice is Bonne Maman/ I did half with raspberry and the other half with blueberry
The Bake
- Using a cookie scoop will give you uniform baked goods
- I added roughly 1 teaspoon of jam, I would have preferred 2 teaspoons (I thought muffins could have had a little bit more)
- I baked muffins in paper cups, you will get a crispier muffin if you don’t use, as well it will allow you to roll entire muffin in cinnamon sugar
The Results
My rating of this recipe is 4 out of 5. They were tasty BUT the muffnuts I have made at the bakery, I think are a better recipe. Message me if you would like my recipe.
