Ingredients

I skipped the biscuit topping and went for a more traditional puff pastry top.

The Results
My rating of this recipe is 5 out of 5. It’s a great meal to serve on a cold fall day. I also made 2 individual pot pies to test a different method. With my large pot pie the puff pastry was quite soggy on the bottom and too brown on the top. With the single serving pot pies I baked the puff pastry separately and added close to the end of the pot pie baking time. This method worked beautifully.
